Special houses made with the help of children and teachers from the Center for the Study of Chestnut Trees, they will shelter tits that protect chestnut trees from one of the main pests of the tree species - the leafmining moth.
The houses are being installed along the main pedestrian street "Todor Aleksandrov" by employees of the OP "Greening" of the Municipality of Blagoevgrad.
The initiative was launched in the presence of children from kindergartens in Blagoevgrad, who learned many interesting facts about nature.
