With an emotional concert-performance under the title "One Love for a Lifetime", the Children's and Youth Folklore Ensemble "Pirinska Kitka" at the Center for Personal and Creative Development of Children of Blagoevgrad celebrated its 60th anniversary. The festive event took place in the "Peyo Yavorov" hall and was held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the official guests were the Mayor of Blagoevgrad Municipality Metodi Baykushev, the Chairperson of the Municipal Council Antoaneta Bogdanova and the Deputy Mayor Boryana Shalyavska. The Mayor congratulated the participants and the organizers and emphasized the importance of Bulgarian folklore as a bridge between generations and a guardian of traditions. The Director of the Center for Bulgarian Folklore and Folklore, Bogdana Kostadinova, also extended her greetings to all those who, with their hard work and inspiration, keep the love for folk art alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program included groups from different age groups, who presented impressive choreographic and musical performances that preserved the beauty and diversity of Bulgarian folklore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary, the collective and its management received certificates and plaques for their services to the preservation and development of Bulgarian folklore. Among the awards was a special plaque, presented by the Mayor of Blagoevgrad Municipality Metodi Baykushev, in recognition of their long-term dedicated work and contribution to the cultural life of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ensemble "Pirinska Kitka" was created in 1965 by choreographer Bratoy Bratoev and today has over 120 Bulgarian folk, thematic, plot and chamber dances. With over 90 awards from national and international forums, the ensemble proves that tradition lives on through the love and work of dozens of generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind the success of the anniversary performance is a creative team led by choreographers Vasil Georgiev and Rilka Georgieva, the head of the orchestra and the SHIP Boyan Boyanov, the head of the SHIP and the GAF Dimana Boyanova, the head of the accordion school Stoyan Dyulgerov, the accompanist Arso Kazaliev and the scenographer Martina Ivanova. The event was hosted by Stoyan Veselinski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anniversary concert left an unforgettable memory with the audience and once again confirmed the importance of Bulgarian folklore as a living link between the past and the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
