As part of the School of Journalism and Media Performance, I had the honor to attend and follow the event, which was attended by a record number of students \u2013 over 90 students from grades 5 to 12 from different schools. The hall was filled with emotion, excitement and pride. Everyone recited Bulgarian poetry with great inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The jury included Lyubima Dimitrova, Kiril Kirilov, and my journalism teacher Magdalina Domozetska, who shared that it was a true joy for her to see such a strong love for the word and the Bulgarian spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the official guests who honored the event and participated in the award ceremony were the Chairperson of the Blagoevgrad Municipal Council - Antoaneta Bogdanova, the Deputy Mayor for Education, Business Development, Social and Health Policy - Boryana Shalyavska, the Deputy Mayor for Culture, Sports and Tourism - Stanislav Kimchev and the Secretary of the Blagoevgrad Municipality - Desislava Kehayova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Director of the Center, Bogdana Kostadinova, and the Deputy Director, Dr. Alexandra Kovacheva, were present in person and encouraged the participants throughout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All the young reciters received certificates and thunderous applause. The strongest performances were awarded prizes, but the real victory was the love for Bulgaria that we felt in each poem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
