The talented dancers from the DYUFA "Pirinska Kitka", led by Vasil Georgiev, Rilka Georgieva and the FTA "Pirinche", led by Simeon Stamboliyski, Polina Satieva and the DS "Public Appearances", led by Stoyan Veselinski took part in the First International Folklore Festival "Izgrev ot Aidara". Amateur groups from Bulgaria, Serbia, North Macedonia and Greece also took part in the rich festive dance and music program. All groups conquered the stage in front of the National Theatre „"Arseni Kostentsev 1980" with Balkan rhythms and mood. All participants received certificates for participation in the 1st INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL.
„"Izgrev ot Aidara" is organized by the Arseni Kostentsev 1980 National Cultural Center and the Municipality of Blagoevgrad. The idea of the international folklore festival, which coincides with the traditional fair in the village of Izgrev, is to popularize folklore traditions, part of the cultural heritage of the Balkans.
