The goal of the charitable initiative is to raise funds for the renovation of the church "St. George the Great Martyr" in the village of Bistritsa. The church is a cultural monument of local importance. It was built in 1861.
At Macedonia Square, the rhythm was set with the popular drum show, an initiative of the Public Performances Department at the Center for Personal and Creative Development of Children of Blagoevgrad. The Center also included the Pirinche FTA and the Pirinska Kitka DYUFA.
Favorite folk performers such as Ivan Gotsev, Ivan Dyakov, Ivana Dyakova, Stoyka Germanova, etc. took part in the initiative. All dance clubs from Blagoevgrad took part in the choreograph, and guests arrived from the entire region.
The organization of the event is carried out by like-minded people from an initiative committee, which has taken on the task of raising funds for the restoration of the temple in the village of Bistritsa.
