We delighted the children from the Summer Academy with their favorite books in the library and in the City Garden. They visited the renovated children's department of the Regional Library "Dimitar Talev"-Blagoevgrad, as well as the open-air library in the City Garden. First, the students were introduced to the rules and how to become readers. Then they looked with interest at the lending and reading rooms in the building. Hristiana Dzhelova from the children's department provided the little ones with an interesting tour of the lending room for adults, where our guests saw two rooms filled with books. Then a librarian told them interesting things about gramophone records, which some children had not known before.
Later, the children, led by teachers Ms. Kinche Mihaylova and Ms. Veselinka Boyanova, visited the City Garden, where the "Open-Air Library" initiative takes place every Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00. There they discovered their favorite works, from which they read under the shade of the trees.
