February 19 will remain memorable for the children from the „St. Bogoroditsa“ Primary School and the „Zdravets“ Primary School, who are attending the schools of the CPLR-CLTRDB for the second year. In order to make the anniversary of the hanging of the Apostle more non-traditional, Mr. Veselinski – head of the Children’s Studio „Public Appearances“ – suggested organizing a patriotic flash mob. The idea was also embraced by Polina Satieva – head of the Pirinche FTA, Georgi Nikolov – head of the TKM school, Vanya Tsvetanova – head of the „Think Green-Ecology“ school and Ekaterina Tabutova – head of the English Language school. On the day of Levski’s hanging, the children visited the monument in Blagoevgrad, where they laid flowers and performed poems praising the Apostle’s feat. Flowers were also laid by Bogdana Kostadinova, Director of the Center for the Prevention and Control of the Diseases of the Children and the Elderly, and Dr. Alexandra Kovacheva, Deputy Director, as well as by the Director of the Public Health Center "Zdravets", Mrs. Emilia Tsekova.
The children's performance ended with the song "For the Apostle." Parents and citizens were present.
