Municipal Youth Parliament – Blagoevgrad, with mentor Dr. Alexandra Kovacheva, joined the National Campaign „Detectives of European Projects“ of the network of regional information centers. The initiative, organized at the local level by the Regional Information Center – Blagoevgrad, involved young people from the Municipal Youth Parliament and the Language High School „Acad. Lyudmil Stoyanov“ – Blagoevgrad.
The aim of the initiative is to raise awareness among high school students about European-funded projects in their locality. Participation in the campaign is also expected to encourage students' engagement in monitoring European projects through the use of information and communication technologies, as well as publicly available "open" data.
During the first phase of the campaign, which launched today in Blagoevgrad, young people were introduced to the European Union's cohesion policy, the basic principles in its implementation and the funds that support its implementation.
