Today, in the lobby of the Central Library of the Bulgarian National Library of Arts and Culture, the children with great pleasure made their red and white martenitsa. With many smiles and creative enthusiasm, they woven the magic of Bulgarian tradition into beautiful handmade ornaments.
The teachers from the Artpalitra school, Ms. Georgieva, the Fine Arts school, Ms. Simeonova and the Decorative and Applied Arts school, Ms. Mihova, clearly showed and told about the symbolism of the holiday - about the power of white as a sign of purity and a new beginning and about red as a symbol of health, love and vitality. A musical greeting to all guests and attendees of the event was given by the children from the Biseri preschool educational institution, with teacher Ms. Bogdanova. Children from the St. Mary Secondary School, as well as schools from the Central Primary and Secondary Educational Service - Central Primary and Secondary Educational Service also joined the initiative.

The event "Baba Marta's Workshop" will continue tomorrow - February 24 to February 26, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the lobby of the Youth Center. All interested children can join without prior preparation, as the necessary materials are provided by the organizers.
