The annual concert "I am a Bulgarian", organized by the Center for Personal and Creative Development of Children of Blagoevgrad, took place with a lot of music, dance, poetry and inspiration. The event was dedicated to Bulgarian literature, music and folklore and became a true celebration of children's creativity and the national spirit.
The concert was named after one of Ivan Vazov’s most beloved works – „I am a Bulgarian“, whose messages of patriotism, dignity and belonging continue to inspire generations of Bulgarians. Through the children’s performances, the audience saw Bulgaria through their eyes – beautiful, inspiring and loved.
Among the official guests of the event were the Deputy Mayor for Education and Business Development Boryana Shalyavska, the Chairperson of the Municipal Council - Blagoevgrad Antoaneta Bogdanova.
All schools of the Center took part in the concert. In addition to the stage performances, visitors had the opportunity to explore creative spaces and studios, presenting the rich activities of the institution, as well as the annual exhibition of the schools "Artpalitra", "Decorative and Applied Arts" and "Ceramics". In the lobby, guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the school "Technical Design and Modeling", Career Guidance, School "Ecology", School "English Language" and School "Entrepreneurship and Catering".
During the program, a welcome address was given by the acting director of the Center, Ekaterina Tabutova, who emphasized the importance of perseverance, support and faith in the development of children, as well as by the director, Bogdana Kostadinova, and the deputy director, Dr. Alexandra Kovacheva.
The finale of the festive evening was emotional and inspiring. The stage was filled not only with music, dance and poetry, but also with talent, courage and dreams. The concert showed how tradition meets modernity and how each child leaves their own unique mark.
The event once again reinforced the mission of the Center for Personal and Creative Development of Children of Blagoevgrad to encourage the creative talents of young people, preserve Bulgarian cultural traditions and create a space for development, inspiration and success.
