High honors and numerous awards for the ballerinas from the Croiset Primary School at the Center for Personal and Creative Development of Children in Blagoevgrad. The children, led by Krasimira Mitova, presented ten dances at the festival, all of which were awarded with certificates and diplomas for high achievements.
A lot of style, interesting techniques in the choreography, the purity of the performances and beautiful costumes contributed to their excellent performance. In the first session, the soloist Elizabeth Galinova was awarded third place in the „Classical Dances” section. In the second session, the soloists – Violeta Angelova, Radina Prateva, Bojana Stoyanova, Ivelina Stambolieva, Nikol Stefanova, Atanasiya Viktorova and Darina Terziyska received a diploma for excellent performance. A diploma for excellent and overall performance was awarded to the Croisette Secondary School. Atanasiya Viktorova also participated in the „Pop, Rock and Jazz Music” section and was awarded third place. First place went to Petya Stoycheva. The DIPLOMA for Rising Star of the „Muses” was awarded to Cecil Lazova. First place in the same section went to our former graduate Bojana Mitova.
The International Youth Arts Festival (IYAF) "The Muses" is organized by the "The Muses" Association in partnership with the Municipality of Sozopol. The festival started in 2006, and in 2007 and 2008 the patron of the event was the Minister of Culture, and since 2015 it has been held under the patronage of the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
„"The Muses" is a traditional forum of the arts and a multi-genre festival-competition in the following areas: cinema, theater, literature and music, dance, non-standard forms and sports. The competition jury is international - scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, directors of international festivals, established artists, Grand Prix winners from previous editions.
