The children from the IV group "Good Friends" and "Clovers" at the DG No. 12 "Aleni Makove" held an exciting ecology lesson with teacher Vanya Tsvetanova. The little explorers learned interesting facts from the life of the woodpecker - one of the most useful and remarkable forest birds.
With the help of educational films and illustrations, the children learned why the woodpecker is the "healer of the trees", what its beak looks like, why it doesn't get a headache when it knocks on a tree, and how it finds food.
The interesting stories and videos sparked the children's curiosity and encouraged them to love and protect nature.
Ecology can be fun! The children learned that every animal has its own important role in nature – and knowledge is the first step towards being its true friends.
