Why did we have a Halloween party? Because children deserve joy.

В Our journalism and media school always has room for smiles, imagination, and new experiences. And yesterday the children got just that – a fun, colorful, and emotional Halloween party that made them happy, united, and inspired.

Yes, Halloween is not a Bulgarian holiday.

Yes, tomorrow is the Day of the People's Awakeners - the real, our, national holiday.

And yes, we celebrate both.

Without fear, without complexes, without opposition.

Sometimes the strongest position is balance.

What did Halloween bring to our children?

• Laughter and emotions

• Sharing, teamwork and the courage to speak up

• Unloading at the end of a busy month

• A chance to be children. Just children.

That's the point. Not witches, not myths, not "importing foreign culture," but childish joy.

While some argue "can" or "can't", we do the most valuable thing - we give the gift of happy memories.

And tomorrow?

Tomorrow we will give what is needed to the people who awaken the spirit of Bulgaria - the awakeners.

With words, respect, value, meaning. As always.

The Day of the National Awakeners is a celebration of knowledge, spirituality and good example.

It deserves a solemn celebration – not formally, but meaningfully.

Why do we think there is no conflict?

Because a fun costume event does not take away Bulgarianness.

We are not celebrating someone else's history - we are celebrating childhood.

True patriotism is not in prohibitions, but in the upbringing of:

• curiosity

• respect for our culture

• the ability to appreciate our holidays without demonizing others

• confidence, not complexes

The conclusion…

Halloween gave us laughter.

Awakeners give us meaning.

There is room in both.

There is time for both.

And children win if we, the adults, are wise.

The most important celebration is always one: to celebrate childhood. We thank the leadership of the Center for Personal and Creative Development of Children of Blagoevgrad, who always stand behind us and support us.

We also thank the colleagues who were with us and shared the atmosphere.

Special thanks to Martin Borislavov, municipal councilor, who with a personal gesture provided a delicious treat for the children and made the holiday even more cheerful.
