The first day of the joint initiative of the Center for Waste Management and Recycling and the Municipality of Blagoevgrad, dedicated to the separate collection and recycling of waste, passed with much curiosity, new knowledge and active discussions.
The children learned interesting facts about the path of waste after disposal, how to properly separate it, and why recycling is important for nature conservation. Through useful tips and examples, everyone was convinced that even small daily actions can have a big positive effect on the environment.
Together we took another step towards building a more responsible attitude towards nature and a cleaner future for our city.
An exhibition of children's works inspired by the campaign for separate waste collection and building "green" habits was opened at the Youth Center.
During the initiative, the children learned why recycling is important, how long it takes for different types of waste to decompose, and how food and vegetable waste collected in brown containers can be turned into biofertilizer and electricity.
The exhibition can be viewed in the Youth Center building until the end of the week. Come and see the world through the eyes of children and remember that caring for nature begins with small daily choices.
