We are very happy to share that for the second consecutive year, the Pirinche Folklore Festival, led by Polina Satieva and Simeon Stamboliyski at the Central Regional Cultural and Folklore Center of Bulgaria, won first prize at the XVI Folklore Festival "Rila is Watching Us" in the town of Dupnitsa.
The award was presented personally by the chairwoman of the jury, Prof. Daniela Dzheneva. With this yet another recognition, the ensemble has confirmed its high level and in February will receive the prestigious title of Representative Dance Ensemble from the academic jury.
We are also particularly proud of the special award "Kostadin Ruychev", in memory of the first choreographer of the "Pirin" ensemble, which is a high praise for the artistic mastery and worthy performance of our dancers.
