A joint concert that brought together on one large stage the Youth and Cultural Association "Pirinska Kitka" at the Center for Personal and Creative Development of Children of Blagoevgrad, the Youth and Cultural Association "St. Stefan - Despot Srbski", the town of Despotovac and the Youth and Cultural Association "Branislav Nusic", the town of Resavica, Republic of Serbia. The event took place in the "P. Yavorov" hall. Over 250 children participated in the concert. The talents from the three The ensemble united their creative energy and interpreted music, songs and dances preserved over the centuries. Their repertoire included dances and songs from all ethnographic areas. The Director of the Center for Personal and Creative Development of Children of Blagoevgrad, Ms. Bogdana Kostadinova and Deputy Director Dr. Alexandra Kovacheva, also attended the event. Ms. Kostadinova presented a symbolic plaque for successful cooperation to our partners from the Republic of Serbia.
The guests also had the opportunity to learn about the history of Blagoevgrad, exploring the ancient Varosha quarter, and also visited the Regional History Museum - Blagoevgrad. At the end, everyone visited the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary. With this initiative, new friendships were created that will always be remembered! This event marked the beginning of future creative projects.
