With the beginning of October came the long-awaited opening of the new school year at the Center for Personal and Creative Development of Children in Blagoevgrad. On the holiday of October 1, 2024, the square in front of the Center came alive with the presence of children, parents and teachers, who welcomed the beginning of new adventures and challenges with smiles and enthusiasm.
The grand opening began with a welcoming speech from the center's director, Mrs. Bogdana Kostadinova. She congratulated all those present, emphasizing that the center continues to grow and provide an increasingly rich and diverse program for its graduates.
The blessing of water for health was performed by Father Andon Shavulev, and the official guest of the event was the Deputy Mayor for Education, Business Development, Social and Health Policy - Mrs. Boryana Shalyavska.
Among the biggest news of this school year were the announcement of new schools that promise to further broaden the horizons of young artists and enthusiasts. Starting this year, the center will host classes in Journalism and Media Performances, where children will be able to develop their acting skills and learn the basics of journalism and media communication. Also presented was the new Italian language school, which promises to give children the opportunity to experience Italian culture and language, and the Catering and Entrepreneurship program will teach them practical skills in the world of cooking and business.
With the new academic year 2024/2025, the Center continues its mission to inspire, educate, and encourage young people to explore their interests and achieve new heights.
