On the occasion of World Water Day - March 22, the children from DG No. 11 "Zdravets" together with their teachers visited the only Water Museum in the country in the city of Blagoevgrad. This year, World Water Day is under the motto "Water for Peace". The children had the opportunity to learn in a fascinating way how important and valuable water is for people's lives and how responsible we must be to keep it clean and use it wisely and fully. At the end of the lecture, everyone children wanted to take a souvenir photo with the mascot "Krancho". The lecture was attended by Mrs. Bogdana Kostadinova, director of the Center for the Development of the Bulgarian National Library, Deputy Director Mrs. Alexandra Kovacheva and the teachers from the schools "Ecology", Mrs. Vanya Tsvetanova, DS "Public Appearances", Mr. Stoyan Veselinski, "English Language", Mrs. Ekaterina Tabutova and FTA "Pirinche", Polina Satieva.

The World Day aims to raise awareness and focus public attention on taking action to address the water and sanitation crisis. The initiative is coordinated by the UN Water Access Mechanism (UN-Water), which is managed by one or more members and partners, with a specific mandate.
